Different Tastes - 3

In the 1950's there was a new desire to see what delicacies other countries had to offer.  The most prominent food that was turned into a fast food franchise was Pizza.  Although this food had been around in Italy for many many years and was viewed as a "peasant food" (Tony Gemingnani) when it was brought to America it was instantly loved.  The first pizza franchise was created in 1961 and was called Pizza Hut, it was founded by two brother Dan and Frank Carney.  This business started out small like any other 

but with the change in America and the new found craving for different and new foods this industry (after looking at the assembly line tactic that the McDonald brothers used) also became one of the best known fast food franchises in America.
